Turkey time is just around the corner! Gobble safe with turkey tips:

  • Thaw frozen turkeys in the fridge or in the sink of cold water that is changed every 30 minute, never out on the counter at room temperature
  • Stuffing  ideally be cooked separately in a casserole dish, if you prefer to stuff the turkey, make sure you do so no earlier than night before cooking.
  • Ensure the oven is heated to eat 325F and the bird is completely thawed before cooking. The turkey is done when a food thermometer inserted into the center of the stuffing reads at 165F and 170F in the breast.
